Snow White & the Huntsman

Mirror, Mirror on the wall... who is  fairest of them all?

It Has been 75 years since Walt Disney's illustrious masterpiece, "Snow White and the seven Dwarfs" had made that very famous line.
Now 75 years later audiences around the world get to witness this masterpiece come to life on the big screen. Rupert Sanders has taken the task and honor to make "Snow White and the Huntsman" to be his silver screen debut, so a lot of pressure is riding on his shoulders right now to make sure the film leaves audiences around the globe mesmerized.
I believe that the odds are in Sanders favor because he has everything that a great director needs in order to make a film sublime. First, Sanders has a great screenplay writer John Lee Hancock who is not a rookie by any means at all. Hancock has director experience and has made stellar films like "The Rookie", "The Alamo" and "The Blind Side" the film which Sandra Bullock was honored with an Oscar for her heart warming role. So with Hancock's experience he will know who is or isn't right for a role, and with how the cast lines up for "Snow White and The Huntsman" I would say they are on the path of success.
Second, the cast for this film is a dream come true for any director, rookie or veteran. You got Chris Hemsworth, Kristen Stewart and Charlize Theron... talk about having it made. Lets look at what these stars will be able to bring to the table just so we know that they are up for the task.
Kristen Stewart is going to be walking into new territory, if you look at Stewart's resume you will notice that she has never done an action film quite like Snow White, she has been in a few films that had action like "Zathura", and "Jumper" where she did not have a very big role, but still got the experience that is expected of an actress in any action film.
Here is a interview that Kristen Stewart gave about what everyone should expect to see from role as Snow White.

Kristen Stewart is wildly known for her role as Bella Swan from the "Twilight" films where she has gained the experience as an actress to make her character strong and unbreakable.
From what the trailers have shown Stewart plays the enchanting Snow White who escapes from the horrible wrath of the evil queen who will stop at nothing to take her heart and use it to make her beautiful for all time. Snow White learns how to adapt in the elusive dark forest, and learns how to fight from the Huntsman who was sent by the queen to capture her. Snow White soon discovers that it is her destiny to stop the repression of the evil queen and to bring freedom to the land. Kristen Stewart will show audiences everywhere that she is a strong and capable actress who is a force to be reckoned with and not to be underestimated, I believe Stewart will rock audiences with her superb role as the breath taking Snow White.

Charlize Theron is taking on a very difficult role in "Snow White and the Huntsman"  her character as the evil queen is to be viewed by audiences as a ruthless, heartless, and soulless. What makes Charlize Theron different from other actresses is that she is original in every new film she has done, Theron has new attitude, new look, and she always gives a stunning  presentation of herself that leaves audiences stunned that it was actually her in the movie. Charlize Theron has done so many remarkable films in her illustrious career that it's a fair assessment to say that she still has not even begun to scratch the surface of how great she can be not only as an actress but as a human being. There are several films that will always come to mind when ever Charlize Theron is mentioned. Her strong character in the "Italian Job" where she played a remarkable safe cracker; in Aeon Flux where she played one of the best assassins in the world; however, Theron is mostly known for her role as prostitute/ serial killer  Aileen Wuornos in the film "Monster" which earned Theron her first Oscar award which is no easy task.
When Theron is not in the spot light she does a lot of volunteer work.
  •   Theron is involved in women's rights organizations, and has marched in pro-choice rallies.
  •   Is a supporter of animal rights and appeared in a PETA ad for its anti-fur campaign.
  •   Has her own charity called the Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project, which is committed to reducing the prevalence of HIV/AIDS and sexual violence among African youth.
Here is an interview Theron gave on her outlook for her new film and what is to be expected of not only her but also the hard work that has been done by her fellow cast mates Chris Hemsworth and Kristen Stewart and director Rupert Sanders.

Charlize Theron is ready to show audiences everywhere a character that they have never seen before. This role is perfect for Theron because she has a dark side that I feel is done waiting and is ready to explode on the big screen.
Finally we have Chris Hemsworth, who needs no introduction at all. Hemsworth has done more then just a few memorable films. This summer Hemsworth stood along side great actors Robert Downey Jr, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Jeremy Renner, and the always stunning Scarlet Johansson in "The Avengers" which is close to being the third highest grossing film of all time which stands at $1,314.4 B. Hemsworth has come so far and in only three years, the 28 year old Australian native thus far has proven himself to Hollywood that he belongs in the greatest place on earth. Hemsworth made his big-screen debut in J.J Abrams reboot of "Star Trek" where he portrayed Captain George Kirtk, the father of the legendary James Tiberius Kirk. Even though Hemsworth's part was rather short, he was still able to make an impact. In 2011 Hemsworth would take on one of the greatest super hero roles and play the mighty Thor. Hemsworth proved to audiences everywhere that he was the real deal by playing the god of thunder, and to never forget it.
In Snow White, Hemsworth will play the part of the Huntsman who is hired by the evil queen to track down the escaped Snow White and bring her back, while the huntsman is unaware of her importance to the queen. The Huntsman soon figures out how important Snow White is bye using his eyes and more importantly his heart to know that she is the only one who can end the darkness and the queens evil terror. here is an interview that Hemsworth gave about what his take is on Snow White and that huntsman, and what to expect from this great film.

Snow White on steroids... can you think of a better word to describe this stunning film? I believe that Hemsworth will show audiences everywhere that his ruggedness and tenacity is to be taken into account when you watch this film because his character will keep you on your toes from beginning to end.

I will leave you with this final word, that Snow White and the huntsman is going to be a film that everyone will want to see, its a film that has everything you need, action, suspense, thrills and yes a love story. if you thought you were going to watch this and not expect a love story then you didn't follow the story as a child. I promise that you will be enchanted by this extraordinary film that it's excellent cast and team was able to make for you.

Understanding the Einstien of Cinema... James Cameron

" I don't look at scripts, I just write them"

The world has had its share of great leaders; leaders like Julius Caesar, George Washington and Nelson Mandela. Its has also had it fair share of geniuses, like Albert Einstein, Beethoven and Leonardo Da Vinci.
When one truly thinks of a leader and a genius in Hollywood there are lots of names that can get thrown around, but no one is admired and respected as much as James Cameron.
James Cameron is without a doubt one of the or thee greatest Directors and Screenwriters in cinema history, and Cameron's films prove that very statement.
1984 was the year the cinema world would change forever, and definitely for the better. It was the year audiences got to witness the birth of "The Terminator" and Arnold Schwarzenegger. Schwarzenegger was not a really big action star have only done the film "Conan The Barbarian" in 1982, but James Cameron would say that when Schwarzenegger first came onto the set of
"The Terminator" he knew Schwarzenegger  was a star, and Cameron showed the world why, and to never forget it.

Twenty eight years have gone bye since Cameron's vision of "The Terminator" was released unto the world, and in all that time we have seen some of the greatest films ever. Here are some of Cameron's great films:
"Terminator 2, Judgement Day, The Abyss, Aliens, True Lies, and last but not least Cameron's two unforgettable films, the two highest grossing films of all time Avatar and Titanic.
Now as most of everyone knows, James Cameron has decided to release "Titanic" in theaters again, but this time in 3D. Now I know what your all thinking!, "Why would Cameron put Titanic in 3D? It's insane "is the studio house looking to make extra money?"
I do have the answers to all the questions you are asking, but I thought maybe Mr. Cameron could tell you himself, in an interview he gave in late 2011 about his reasons to do Titanic's 3D movie.

"Converting a film to 3D is not a magic wand. You have to create everything when there’s no 3D information from that original moment of photography"
Now if your questions were not answered, take my advice and just go see this exquisite masterpiece and let your mind at ease cause I have no doubt in my mind James Cameron knows what he is doing, and you should be doubt free also.

I know a bunch of people who have asked a question most people in the world have had on there mind to. "How does a studio hand over two hundred million dollars over to someone who's idea might fail?"
the answer to that question is rather easy... "it's James Cameron" plain and simple. You know that when Cameron has a vision in his head to make what he calls "an epic masterpiece" you just give him what resources that are required to let the dream become reality. Having James Cameron's name one a film is like having the words "Made in the U.S.A" being put on the most reliable products, you know it won't fail you, and it's reliable to last forever, and Titanic did just that having a budget of two hundred million dollars, getting a record gross at the time of 1.8 billion dollars world wide. If that was not enough how about Titanic winning 11 academy awards, being the second of three films in cinema history to do so, William Wyler's "Ben-Hur" was first in 1959, James Cameron "Titanic" in 1997, then Peter Jackson, "The Lord Of The Rings: Return Of The King" in 2003.

Almost ten years later James Cameron was ready for another one of his visions to be revealed onto the world again, a vision of outstanding excellence and an unforgettable adventure... AVATAR.
Avatar will go down as one of the greatest films ever made, and it will now become a leading example to how a certain type of films should be made, and by certain films I mean 3D films.

In September of 2011 Cameron spoke his mind with the move on 3D, and wither it will be successful or if it will fall. Cameron would say "Good 3D that's done well in an integrated way and is an enhancement will make a film money." Cameron would finish by saying the following about great 3D films that succeeded "Like Alice In Wonderland and the new Transformers, the 3D was done well on that, it was deep and integrated into the shot design."

I would like to leave you with my final word by saying that I truly believe that Hollywood and the rest of the world is lucky to have James Cameron. There is no other Director in history who has aspired to work from the bottom to go as far as the stars. Cameron is a perfect example to the world cause he is not only a great humanitarian and shows extraordinary humbleness in his success. Cameron has said how thankful he is to all those who have stood behind him threw his remarkable efforts to make his films happen. Cameron shows that you don't need to win an Oscar every year in order to be remembered, instead you just work very hard without giving up and to always believe in yourself, cause if you don't believe in yourself then how do you expect anyone else to?
I can say on a personnel level that I admire Cameron for everything he does. I only hope that in the future I can be as great of person as he is, and to be a remarkable director that others will look up to. Thanks James, your films will always inspire me to never give up on my dreams.
